As one of several thriving Freemason lodges in Queens, New York, Advance Service Mizpah Lodge 586 isproud to serve our neighbors through a variety of charitable and family-focused initiatives. Our members are committed to both upholding Masonic values and giving back in meaningful ways that matter to Astoria and the greater Queens area.

Our regular blood drives help save lives and support local hospitals in their ongoing need for donors. These events bring together lodge members, families, and neighbors to give the gift of life;one donation at a time. Participation from our local community has continually made a difference, turning each event into a testament to the Masonic spirit of charity.

No family should go hungry during the holidays. That’s why our annual Turkey Drives provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need throughout Queens. Our lodge members work alongside local partners to collect, organize, and distribute turkeys, ensuring that as many homes as possible can celebrate the season with dignity and joy.

Building community also means creating fun, memorable moments for families. Ourpumpkin decorating events each fall welcome children and parents from across Astoria to come together in creativity and laughter. These free gatherings bring color and excitement to our neighborhood, forging bonds and making new friends.

Education is a cornerstone of any thriving community. OurSchool Supply Drives make sure local students start the year prepared and confident. By collecting and distributing backpacks, notebooks, and other essential items, we help build a brighter future for the youngest residents of Queens.
